We build motors and generators from scratch, with complete electric motor manufacturing and engineering capabilities. IPS remanufactures all types and sizes of AC & DC motors and generators to meet specific requirements.
We provide reverse engineering when the AC motor manufacturer or DC motor manufacturer is no longer in business or no longer supports the product. We create new component-level assembly and parts drawings, manufacture all parts and then assemble the unit. We’re also an experienced synchronous generator manufacturer and hydro generator rebuilder.

Most shops repair. We remanufacture electric motors and generators to OEM specifications or better, using IPS premium engineered insulation systems to increase power density and in-house coil manufacturing to reduce your lead times. We offer complete mechanical repairs and machining services, with in-house CNC parts manufacturing to keep lead times short and costs competitive. Our repair technicians average twenty-five years of experience, so they know your rotating assets. We have experience uprating hydroelectric generators, refiner motors, and mission-critical rotating assets.
