The IPS Shreveport Service Center specializes in the service and repair of process-critical electric motors, generators and mechanical equipment for nuclear power and fossil fuel plants, paper mills, refineries, chemical plants and aggregate & cement. We’re also an IPS Wind Service certified repair center for on-site and in-shop wind generator repair services.
IPS Shreveport provides electric motor repair and maintenance services throughout the United States, including Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi and offers complete electrical testing, including core loss testing with thermography and IEEE 429 water immersion testing up to 13.8 kV. Our services include stator core restacking, and premium VPI MegaSeal™ and EnduraSeal® rewinds. Our repair and field service specialists have the industry-specific experience, unmatched technologies and engineering support to keep your electric motors and generators running.

IPS Shreveport performs all nuclear safety related motor repairs in a dedicated, clean room. This clean room, along with the winding clean room, is part of IPS Shreveport’s continued commitment regarding Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) and compliance with nuclear spare parts segregation.
