(Greenville, SC – April 18th, 2023) Integrated Power Services (IPS), a North American leader in single-source solutions for industrial and commercial power and mechanical processes, has announced the hiring of Al Barlow as Vice President, Regional General Manager for the West Region and nuclear business.
Al returns to Integrated Power Services after working for IPS for seven years, from 2015 to 2022, as Area General Manager of the Cleveland and Evansville Service Centers. We are excited to have Al Barlow rejoin IPS after his terrific track record, leading teams through tremendous growth and their continuous improvement journey.
Most recently, Al was General Manager – Remanufacturing for Road Machinery LLC. Before joining IPS, Al had an 18-year career with Joy (Komatsu) and a 9-year career at General Electric as a Motor and Generator Engineer in GE’s Apparatus Services business. Al graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
The IPS West Region electromechanical service centers and teams reporting to Al include Seattle, Longview, and Spokane, Washington; Los Angeles, Visalia, and Carson, California; and Reno, Nevada. These locations came to IPS through acquisitions of Delta Electric, Eastside Electric, IEM, and Reed Electric over the last few years. They will now operate under the IPS brand and coordinate as the IPS West regional network of shops, teams, and resources. Al will also lead IPS’s nuclear, electromechanical, and pump business teams.

Al graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Al will be based in Phoenix, Arizona.
