The people who work at IPS are the heart of our engineering and service culture. Because we’re growing, we’re always looking for people — people committed to providing an Unmatched Customer Experience every day.
In return, we offer what we call the Unmatched Employee Experience. It’s one of the most important things we do as a company and part of our commitment to making IPS a great place to work.
If you’re an industry expert, we want to talk to you. If you’re ready to become an expert, we want to talk to you too.
IPS has locations across the US and Canada, serving a diverse portfolio of national and regional accounts. Our service centers specialize in equipment that moves power and water, working with industrial, commercial, and government customers who need reliable operations.
Our technicians and engineers work on massive electric motors and generators weighing up to 280,000 lbs. We now also work on rotating equipment (pumps, fans, compressors) and power distribution equipment (switchgear, transformers, control panels).
We have career opportunities in specific technical roles — winders, mechanics, field service technicians, utility operators, and machinists. And we always want to talk to candidates for positions in engineering, account management, distribution, and customer support.
We always say our people are our most important asset. To show how much we care, IPS takes a holistic approach to our employees’ well-being.
When you work for IPS, you can expect the following:
