IPS distribution services rely on our experienced engineers and in-shop remanufacturing technicians. We design, manufacture, modify, assemble, or fabricate equipment for specific customer needs, especially when they need it fast.
These can be one-off motors, pumps, other rotating equipment, or power distribution equipment. We also deliver short production runs of replacement parts, fleet-level motor modifications, and e-Houses.
Our distribution services give you turnkey solutions, with replacement equipment bundled with delivery, installation, commissioning, and field services.
IPS veteran metalworking specialists make and ship 70,000+ CNC parts annually to customers, OEMs, and distributors. This operation handles rush jobs, including short and long production runs, with OEM quality or better.
IPS uprates motors and generators with advanced design and materials for more horsepower or efficiency. We also over-spec and machine to tighter tolerances to eliminate vibration and heat build-up for better-than-new quality.
When the exact motor you need is unavailable, we can modify motors for the application. These modifications include bearing and seal upgrades, shaft modifications, shaft grounding provisions, and encoder kits.
IPS Custom Equipment engineers manufacture and fabricate electrical houses (e-Houses) for industrial and commercial applications. These e-Houses meet safety and reliability standards defined by ANSI, IEEE, UL, CSA, NEMA, and NEC.
IPS remanufactures drives with OEM-quality parts, processes, and specifications to restore equipment, improve its performance, and extend its service life. We provide design and reverse engineering for obsolete drives, plus replacement parts.
Documented maintenance to prepare critical assets in temperature- and humidity-controlled environments. Shaft rotation to prevent bearing and rotor damage, plus Megger testing.
Over 1,000 years of collective experience with electric motors & generators, rotating equipment, and power distribution. Root cause failure analysis with engineering for the application.
Plans include complete documentation of tests and results, plus engineering recommendations. We can coordinate electrical and mechanical tests for completion during planned outages.
