Leading industrial service provider expands service coverage in the Northeast with addition of Clifton, NJ full-service repair facility
(Greenville, SC — February 21, 2020) Integrated Power Services (IPS), the North American leader in service and repair solutions for industrial electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmission components, has acquired Precision Electric Motor Works, Inc.
Founded in 2000, Precision Electric Motor Works is an industrial equipment repair company specializing in on-site and in-shop services for motors, pumps, fans and blowers. Precision is also an authorized distributor for leading manufacturers of motors, controls, gearboxes, pumps and power transmission components. Precision has established relationships with companies in the tri-state area of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

This is the eighth strategic acquisition by IPS since 2008, adding to the prior acquisitions of Electro-Mec, The Monarch Electric Group, TRICO TCWIND, Industrial Apparatus Service, KVA Dynamo/B+B Dynamo & Armature/King’s Electric Motors, the Industrial Repair Division of Higgins Electric, Inc. and Excel Apparatus Services, Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
