GREENVILLE, SC (January 5, 2016) – Integrated Power Services (IPS), a North American leader in the service and repair of electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmission components, has expanded its operations with a new service center in Southwest, Louisiana. This facility, combined with the recent opening of the new Erie, PA service center and the acquisition of the Industrial Repair Division of Higgins Electric, Inc. of Dothan, located in Dothan, Alabama, brings IPS to 25 locations across North America. This industry-leading network of locations provides engineering, repair services, field services, product sales, manufacturing and asset storage.

The new IPS Southwest Louisiana Service Center, located at 2892 South Post Oak Road, Sulphur, Louisiana, offers the repair of electric motors, generators, servo motors, gear reducers, drives, industrial electronic equipment, and climate controlled industrial storage. The service center maintains a complete inventory of new motors and variable frequency drives and also offers an extensive program of on-site field services, including removal/installation, laser alignments, vibration analysis, balancing, PdMA electrical testing, variable frequency drive commissioning and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
