VP of Engineering –
Power Management Division

• Provides technical leadership and functional support focused on achieving IPS Annual Operating Plan growth and operating objectives for the Power Management Division. Develops and deploys technologies that advance the strategic vision and mission of IPS, establishes uniform specifications and work standards for Power Management related products & services, NETA-related field service functions and ensures IPS Service Centers have safe, capable, and reliable processes.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada; NETA Level IV Certified Technician; NICET Level IV Certified Technician; NCCER Certified Instructor; and a Certified Thermographer. Beckman is on the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) advisory board. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Power & Energy Society (PES) and currently serving as the acting President for NETA.
