Integrated Power Services names Scott Boothby as Senior Vice-President — Mergers & Acquisitions

Greenville, SC (May 19, 2021) – IPS, a North American leader in the service and repair of electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmission components, has named Scott Boothby as Senior Vice-President — Mergers & Acquisitions. Scott will report directly to John Zuleger, IPS President & CEO.

He comes to IPS from the Seaman Corporation in Wooster, OH, a privately held company producing industrial coated fabrics for roofing, architectural, geomembrane and military applications. As Seaman’s Director of New Business Development, Scott led inorganic growth strategies — partnerships, alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions. He also spearheaded market research strategy, including Voice of the Customer, for new product development.

His career experience includes twenty-plus years in acquisitions with the Timken Company. During his time at Timken, he led the acquisitions of Philadelphia Gear, Wazee Electric, Smith Services and Schulz Electric. Before joining Timken, Scott held various positions in sales and marketing, product development, operations and engineering leadership.

In his new M&A role, Scott will lead the process of identifying potential acquisitions, introducing IPS, developing relationships, performing due diligence and closing deals.
