Comprehensive testing for electric motors & generators, rotating equipment, and power distribution

IPS comprehensive testing covers your critical infrastructure. We test equipment on-site, “as received” and “as shipped” after in-shop repair.

Test data and our analytics validate IPS engineering recommendations and guide our solution development. We can schedule testing during planned outages or to start predictive and preventive maintenance.

Testing for rotating equipment

We provide comprehensive testing for pumps, fans, compressors, and blowers — on-site and in our service centers. These include:

Flow testing for pumps, “as received” and “as shipped,” for benchmarking
Vibration analysis, “as received” and “as shipped,” for benchmarking

Electrical testing for power distribution equipment

IPS tests to identify and correct factors that cause equipment deterioration, accidents, or failure. This includes non-invasive testing performed without an outage.

Our power management business has a dedicated L-series DILO SF₆ gas cart, calibrated to process high-voltage circuit breakers up to 500kV. It performs all key functions for environmentally friendly handling of SF₆ gas in commissioning and maintenance of gas-insulated electrical equipment.

Our power distribution testing includes:

Low, medium, and high voltage equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair
Protective relay testing, calibration, and repairs
OCB, vacuum, and SF₆ testing and repairs
Switchgear maintenance and repairs
Grounding system testing, calibration, and repairs
