When disaster strikes, IPS responds fast. We leverage the scale and single-source capabilities of our North American network to bring you back online.
Safety is job one. We make sure your people are safe, then work to restore business operations.
Our field service crews test, repair, or replace damaged power distribution equipment, electric motors and generators, and rotating equipment. Single-sourcing your disaster recovery operation with IPS improves project management, communications, and accountability.
The most efficient disaster recovery starts with effective disaster recovery planning.
We start by assessing your electrical equipment, using available documentation with a walk-through of the power distribution system. IPS PowerServe leads our work with service, repair, or replacement of damaged electrical equipment, including:
We provide a detailed inventory of equipment damage, cleaning and test requirements, recommended actions, and manpower estimates. Our field service technicians are trained and certified for safety, and experienced with rigging, equipment removal, and installation.
Following the acquisition of Tampa Armature Works, IPS specializes in emergency back-up power. IPS Power Systems maintains a fleet of emergency power generators, ranging from 50 kW to 1500 kW. All units up to 400 kW are towable and units over 500 kW come in fifth wheel containers.
We provide emergency on-site back-up power until we can safely reconnect to the grid. Our generators power the lights and pumps necessary to make facilities workable.
IPS has rotating equipment experts across our North American network. These veteran field service technicians assess the damage to pumps, fans, blowers, and compressors, then repair or replace.
We clean and decontaminate equipment. IPS offers a complete battery of tests, laser alignment and on-site balancing, plus equipment removal, installation, and conditioning.
Emergency response and disaster recovery are part of the job for IPS field service technicians. They have the experience and equipment to make sure your people are safe and restore operations.
